United Nations of America
Consisting of North, South, and Central America, the United Nations of America is what has become of what was once the United States of America. The structure of government has changed little, still a democracy with representatives and senators of increasingly smaller divisions of land. The biggest change is the number of layers to the government. Instead of simply increasing the number of states with each new annexation, the Americas instead opted to keep the separation of nations and countries, and bring everyone together with another layer of legislative government, specifically a new House of Representatives and Senate which consisted of each nation’s President and their Cabinet. Along with this was created a larger layer of executive government as well. The position of Potentate of the United Nations of America was established, creating a presidential like head of this new yet old government.
